The Sandinista government is making great strides in improving the lives of the workers of Nicaragua by providing affordable yet good quality houses for the workers. President Daniel Ortega told us that 900,000 units will be made available for those earning less than £300 a month, whilst the monthly payment for these houses will be as little as £15 a month. This effort by the Sandinistas will solve the housing shortage in Nicaragua, positively affecting 134 of Nicaragua’s 153 municipalities. In a world full of darkness this is a positive development for the people of Nicaragua, long live the FSLN!
